Hi I’m Brian and I’m currently studying criminology in the University of York, which is a Russell Group university in the United Kingdom. I have a passion in learning English, as well as teaching English. In my DSE, I got a 5* in English overall, and I achieved 5** in both reading and speaking, and 5* in listening. In addition, I also achieve 7.5 in IELTS, which I got 8 and 8.5 in speaking and listening respectively. Adding to the fact that I studied in UK, I can assure you that my English speaking abilities can effectively help your children to improve speaking skills. In terms of the ways to learn English, I believe students should not only complete exercises and do past paper, but teachers should also focus on enhancing students’ interests in the language. Therefore, I will use various kinds of methods to teach English, including exercises, listening to radio broadcasts (BBC), watching movies and reading books. I hope my teaching will be satisfactory for you.

I am currently studying Linguistics at the City University of Hong Kong. I graduated from an EMI secondary school and my current degree is an Education Bureau recognized English language teaching degree, I have as well taken the IELTS exam, featuring a 8.5/9 speaking grade. I have had years of experience in tutoring and am capable of adjusting tutoring style according to student’s need. I wish to know more about the student’s current learning progress and have a discussion before class to facilitate future progress.
